Jesup wrestling coach resigns, reasons undisclosed JESUP, Iowa (AP) — The head high school wrestling coach in Jesup has resigned a few days after he was suspended by school officials. No one is saying why Brent Meyers, also a middle school teacher, resigned or why he was about to be fired by the school board. A special meeting had been called in Jesup for Friday night to consider firing Meyers. He handed in his resignation effective Dec. 5 on Friday morning.
